The <script> tag encloses an inline script or loads one from a file. If you have several <script> tags in a display file, their contents get concatenated together before execution.

Some characters are reserved for XML and thus have to be escaped inside inline scripts. You can, however, put the script into a CDATA section to make the XML parser ignore the reserved characters. |
