Although it works fine with old rc-scripts to start/stop sshd on SunOS 5.10++, it is very nice with SMF (svc) Here is how I use it.
They work just fine, but I'm sure it could have been done better.
Relevant files:
ossh put in /lib/svc/method/ossh (and chmod 555)
ossh.xml put in /var/svc/manifest/network/ossh.xml
run: #svccfg import /var/svc/manifest/network/ossh.xml
#svcadm enable ossh
